Senior SCADA Automation Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned automation specialist to join our team as a Senior SCADA Automation Specialist. This is an exceptional opportunity for the right individual to drive innovation and excellence in distribution automation projects.

The ideal candidate will have direct experience with GE PowerOn configuration, SCADA/DMS/OMS workflows, GIS integration, and utility operational processes.

  • Configure, test, and deploy advanced automation solutions using GE PowerOn Advantage/ADMS modules (SCADA, DMS, OMS).
  • Develop and customize business logic, alarms, telemetry points, and control actions to meet project requirements.
  • Design and implement data processing and system operations using PL/SQL, Shell, Perl scripts.
  • Integrate systems with GIS, AMI, OMS, and enterprise systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Implement and support FLISR, Volt/VAR Optimization, Load Forecasting, and Switching Plans.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve real-time operational issues on SCADA/DMS platforms.
  • Provide user training, documentation, and L2/L3 support to control room operators.
  • Collaborate with internal developers and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
