Job Opportunity

To achieve yard and ship targets in coordination with planners, tower controllers, gate supervisors, operators, and service providers.

  • Direct and control physical activities in the yard, vessel, road queue, ship arrivals, and general terminal housekeeping and cleanliness.
  • Work towards achieving operational KPIs.
  • E nsure all staff wear proper PPE.
  • Ensure OOG containers are handled properly without delay.
  • Verify lashers follow the buddy system during pinning/unpinning/onboard/fixing slings/man cage/ladder tasks.
  • Maintain safety and achieve incident-free shifts.
  • Randomly check lasher/checker onboard headcounts.
  • Ensure personnel under your control effectively perform their tasks to meet daily operational requirements.
  • Liaise with clients and other bodies to maintain close cooperation and goodwill between the company and external interests.
  • Communicate effectively and implement company policy in practice.
  • Exercise leadership, promote teamwork, and ensure adherence to company policy among direct reports and employees.
  • Provide feedback on operational matters, discuss problems, and suggest changes to enhance efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES Skills and Competencies

  • Familiarity with TOS/Zodiac is preferred.
  • Knowledge of equipment operations is an added advantage.
  • LMV license and driving experience are required.
