Job Title: Senior ETL Developer

A highly skilled and experienced Senior ETL Developer is sought to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Databricks.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions, utilizing skills such as writing complex SQL queries and knowledge of SQL Analytical functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Data Pipelines - Design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Databricks.
  • Optimize Spark Jobs - Optimize Spark jobs and ensure efficient data processing and storage.
  • Develop and Maintain Notebooks - Develop and maintain Databricks notebooks, workflows, and dashboards.
  • Build and Optimize Data Pipelines - Build and optimize data pipelines and workflows in Databricks.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues - Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Monitor and Manage Data Processing Jobs - Monitor and manage data processing jobs to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Integrate with Cloud Platforms - Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to integrate Databricks with other services.
  • Stay Current with Industry Trends - Stay current with the latest Databricks and big data technologies and trends.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in development and maintenance in a data engineering project.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and knowledge of SQL Analytical functions.
  • Proficient in Databricks, including design, development, and deployment of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Programming languages such as Python, Scala.
  • Knowledge of cloud tools and technologies.
