Data Architect and Engineer

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect and Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, scalable data pipelines to support our analytics solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data models, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Set up and maintain optimal data lake architecture using AWS/GCP platforms.
  • Assemble large and complex data sets that meet business requirements.
  • Design and implement internal process improvements, including automation of manual processes and optimization of data delivery.
  • Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources using SQL.
  • Work on root cause analysis and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field such as computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
  • At least 5 years' experience in data analytics/data engineering.
  • Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, and relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with stream-processing systems and workflow management tools.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
