Data Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality features and delivering tasks to a high standard.

  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend and data engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data pipelines and architectures.
  • Design and implement data warehouses and lakes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of hands-on experience in using Python, JVM, and Shell Scripting with production experience.
  • 3 years of proven experience on building cloud-native data-intensive applications, Amazon Web Services experience is a must.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience of building and maintaining Spark applications.
  • Strong understanding of Parquet, Delta Lake, and other OTFs file formats.
  • Proficiency on an Infrastructure as Code tool such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with observability systems (e.g., Datadog or Prometheus/Grafana).
