HVAC Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled HVAC design specialist to join our team. As an HVAC design specialist, you will be responsible for creating working drawings for HVAC systems in commercial and light industrial buildings.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, including chillers, AHUs, VAVs, FCUs, ventilation, and smoke control. They will also be familiar with GCC codes and Civil Defence requirements, as well as proficient in HVAC calculations and software such as HAP.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with site teams and other stakeholders.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and prepare accurate HVAC working drawings per project standards
  • Coordinate with civil, architectural, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting layouts
  • Resolve technical issues with site teams
  • Maintain ISO documentation and drawing logs
  • Support quantity take-offs and drawing approvals
  • Monitor productivity and assist in QA/QC processes
  • Identify additional work and inform the Project Manager
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • HVAC training certification preferred
