Job Overview

Operations Manager Role

The Operations Manager will oversee and streamline inspection and quality operations in renewable energy projects, specifically solar and wind energy.

  • Lead inspection operations for solar and wind energy projects across manufacturing, installation, and commissioning stages to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Implement and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) protocols to guarantee high-quality results.
  • Supervise and optimize manpower allocation across multiple project sites to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors to uphold quality and delivery standards, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for project coordination and issue resolution to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Develop detailed reports on inspection progress, project timelines, and quality status to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Adhere to industry best practices, safety standards, and renewable energy regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in processes, team performance, and inspection efficiency to drive long-term success.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy preferred).

Experience: 6 to 10 years in QA/QC, inspection, or operations in renewable energy (solar and wind mandatory).

Technical Expertise:

  • In-depth understanding of solar PV systems and wind turbine components.
  • Familiarity with national and international QA/QC standards for renewable energy.
  • Proficiency in inspection tools, checklists, and documentation.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder and vendor coordination skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
Additional Requirements
  • Willingness to travel to project and vendor sites frequently.
  • Exposure to utility-scale or large rooftop solar/wind projects preferred.
