Mechanical Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for providing expert level support on condition monitoring of rotating equipment.

You will utilize various condition monitoring techniques such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, and video spectroscopy to identify potential issues and prevent major breakdowns.

Your expertise will also include utilizing online and offline data acquisition techniques to analyze and provide necessary recommendations for maintenance needs.

In addition, you will work closely with our reliability improvement team to develop and implement plans based on condition monitoring parameters.

You will maintain updated knowledge of the condition of rotating equipment by monitoring, tracking, and analyzing data to identify developing faults or defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out detailed analysis of condition-based data
  • Monitor and analyze condition monitoring vibration oil analysis wear particle thermography etc
  • Carry out rotating equipment trouble shooting root cause analysis for actual potential failures

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering

Accredited vibration analysis training Cat I

Knowledge of condition monitoring data systems like CSI Emerson SKF and GE System1 SmartSignal various oil analysis techniques wear particles thermography etc
