Compensation Specialist Role

We are seeking an analytical and organized Compensation Specialist to join our HR team.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Support the Compensation Team with administrative tasks, including updating market data and maintaining employee job and compensation-related information in HR systems.
  • Analyze and interpret HR data to ensure accuracy and consistency using tools like Excel and Visier.
  • Collaborate with the HRIS Team to identify and test system enhancements that improve efficiency.
  • Work with HRBPs and HR Operations to create market reference points and process employee compensation changes in SuccessFactors.
  • Submit accurate payment files in SuccessFactors for recurring and non-recurring payments.
  • Adapt to complete cyclical and special projects assigned by the Compensation Directors, including submitting survey data, building pay models, and synthesizing data for annual merit guidelines and budget review.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, or Finance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of compensation principles and practices.
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Understanding of business analytics and retail industry trends.

This role requires a strong understanding of compensation principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
