Supply Chain Management Professional

Lead a team to manage the supply chain operations, ensuring timely availability of raw materials and finished goods.

  • Develop strategic plans to optimize procurement processes, including order creation, vendor evaluation, pricing negotiations, and APN/NFA creation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement modern inventory management practices and improve quality management systems.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of annual budgets for employees, equipment, and materials, ensuring alignment with functional objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with international suppliers, OEMs, and contract counterparties to gather market intelligence.
  • Participate in discussions with project management and engineering services functions to develop project schedules and risk management plans.
  • Monitor procurement operations, including tendering processes, contractor appraisal, and negotiation of offers.
Requirements:
  • 10-15 years of experience in supply chain management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba platform.
  • Demonstrated experience dealing with suppliers, especially defense commodities.
Desirable:
  • Defense industry exposure.
  • Logistics and freight forwarding experience.
  • Sub-contracting and vendor development skills.
