**Job Title:** Cybersecurity Strategist

Overview

The role of a Cybersecurity Strategist is to develop and implement an enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy that safeguards sensitive data, ensures compliance with regulatory frameworks, and strengthens the security posture of our organization.

This position demands strong expertise in threat management, data protection, cloud security, and regulatory compliance with hands-on technical knowledge across the full cybersecurity stack.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, frameworks, and controls.
  • Monitor and respond to cyber threats and incidents using SIEM and SOC processes.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing (VAPT), and red team exercises.
  • Perform digital forensics, root cause analysis, and incident response lifecycle management.
  • Define and enforce policies for data privacy, identity and access management (IAM/PAM), and data loss prevention (DLP).
  • Secure infrastructure across network, endpoint, application, database, and cloud environments.
  • Implement security controls for cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Manage and tune security tools such as firewalls, WAF, IDS/IPS, EDR, SIEM, SOAR, CASB, and DDoS protection.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with various regulatory standards (IRDAI, RBI, GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, SOC2).
  • Assess third-party vendor risk and ensure supply chain security.
  • Lead business continuity and disaster recovery efforts from a security perspective.
Technical Skills Required:

Candidates should possess a solid understanding of core security areas, including network security, endpoint security, application security, cloud security, identity and access management, data protection, security operations, threat and vulnerability management, incident response, and DevSecOps.

  • Network Security: Firewalls, VPN, Zero Trust, SD-WAN, NAC.
  • Endpoint Security: EDR/XDR solutions.
  • Application Security: OWASP Top 10, SAST, DAST, RASP, API security.
  • Cloud Security: CSPM, CWPP, CASB; secure configuration of cloud services.
  • Identity & Access Management: IAM, PAM.
  • Data Protection: DLP solutions, encryption, key management, tokenization.
  • Security Operations: SIEM, SOAR, threat hunting, SOC operations.
  • Threat & Vulnerability Management: Qualys, Nessus, Rapid7.
  • Incident Response & Forensics: EnCase, FTK, Volatility.
  • DevSecOps: Container scanning, CI/CD pipeline security.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

  • Certifications (one or more): CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CEH, OSCP, OSWE, GPEN, CCSP, CCSK, AZ-500.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
