Cybersecurity Leadership Opportunity
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the sales strategy for cybersecurity products and services in the Indian market, building relationships with key enterprise clients, and developing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
This role involves owning the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to deal closure, ensuring accurate forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools. The successful candidate will also conduct market research to identify client needs, assess competitor activities, and align solutions with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets for cybersecurity products and services in India.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including CISOs, CTOs, and other decision-makers, to promote cybersecurity solutions.
- Owning the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to deal closure, ensuring accurate forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools.
- Conducting market research to identify client needs, assess competitor activities, and align solutions with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with pre-sales and technical teams to design and present tailored cybersecurity solutions, demonstrating strong technical acumen to articulate complex solutions effectively.
- Working closely with marketing, product management, and technical teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings and customer needs.
- Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote cybersecurity solutions and generate leads.
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems while ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant industry standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in cybersecurity sales or IT solution sales within India.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment, preferably with a cybersecurity OEM or system integrator.
Technical Knowledge:
- A strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, including NGFWs, SIEM, cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), identity and access management (e.g., Okta, SailPoint), endpoint protection (e.g., CrowdStrike, Defender), and emerging technologies like AI-driven threat detection,SASE and zero trust frameworks.
- Ability to discuss and demonstrate technical concepts, architectures, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry frameworks such as NIST, CERT-In, MITRE ATT&CK, and ISO 27001.
Skills:
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and client needs.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment and adapt to evolving market conditions.
- Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP)(preferred) or sales (e.g., Certified Sales Professional) are a plus.
- Other Requirements: Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed.
