Job Title: DC Operations Manager

Purpose of the Job:

The purpose of this role is to oversee and manage day-to-day operations in a data center environment. This includes ensuring uptime, reliability, and efficiency of DC operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of shift managers to ensure all planned and unplanned activities are executed on time with good communication.
  • Track and close complaints within SLA deviation.
  • Manage incidents and conduct RCA with recommendations on time, with periodic review of RCAs.
  • Oversee asset management, warranties, AMC, lifecycle, and capacity management.
  • Track and complete 5 PPM activities with TAT, working with OEMs to ensure 100% equipment availability.
  • Manage vendors with RAT and TAT on complaints, ensuring redundant equipment uptime.
  • Track and maintain stock records as per BCP requirements.
  • Coordinate with CE teams for customer-related queries and submit reports on time.
  • Maintain compliance at 100%, tracking periodic trackers.
  • Maintain and adhere to physical security processes.
  • Prepare risk assessments and validate periods based on incidents and RCAs.
  • Update inventories monthly, balancing capacity vs. accompaniment vs. balance, including customer details on rack inventory.
  • Submit reports on time with agreed timelines.
  • Audit and compliance must be at 100%.
  • Knowledge in HSE is required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 7+ years of progressive data center and/or critical facilities experience.
  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Proven relevant work experience in the data center industry.
  • Solid technical background, understanding and hands-on experience in data center infrastructure.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
