Typesetter and Compositor

We are seeking experienced typesetters and compositors to join our team in Chennai. This role involves working with Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, and PDF technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of typesetting terminologies, proof markings, and specifications.

This is a full-time position that requires 3+ years of experience in pagination/typesetting. The selected candidate will work independently and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle typesetting for books using Adobe InDesign (Mac/Windows).
  • Work on Adobe Acrobat, PDF technologies, and printer file creation.
  • Implement revision corrections, book compilation, and preflighting.
  • Work with XML workflow and customer instructions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate with minimum 3 years of experience in pagination/typesetting.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, and PitStop.
  • Understanding of proof markings and layout specifications.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
