Job Title: Memory Layout Designer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced memory layout designer to join our team. As a memory layout designer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative memory layouts for next-generation Cores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop high-performance memory compilers layouts and memory Fast Cache instances layouts to achieve outstanding Power, Performance, and Area (PPA).
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement memory layout solutions that meet customer requirements.
Requirements
  • Possess a graduate or postgraduate degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent from a reputable University or Engineering School.
  • Have a solid understanding of CMOS Transistors, their behavior, and CMOS logic design and layout.
  • Understand power versus performance versus area trade-offs in typical CMOS design.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and an engineering demeanor.
  • Create high-quality design rule-driven layouts.
  • Review schematics with engineers and propose changes based on layout implications.
  • Explore possible floor planning options and propose improvements.
  • Maintain a minimum of 5 years of experience in SRAM/memory layouts creation and backend verifications, including EMIR analysis.
Nice to Have Skills
  • Familiarity with basic scripting languages, such as Perl or Python.
  • Experience working with Cadence or Synopsys flows.
