About the Role

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented
Layout Designer
with strong expertise in print media. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, structuring, and refining layouts for books, newspapers, magazines, brochures, posters, and other print materials that align with our brand identity and communication goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute visually compelling layouts for magazines, newspapers, brochures, flyers, and other print media.
  • Collaborate with editors, writers, and the creative team to balance text, images, and white space effectively.
  • Ensure layouts follow brand guidelines, maintain readability, and enhance overall user experience.
  • Edit and manipulate images, typography, and graphics for print-ready designs.
  • Prepare final artwork files for pre-press and ensure accuracy for high-quality print production.
  • Stay updated with trends in typography, color schemes, and modern print design practices.
  • Work with printers and vendors to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Layout Designer or Graphic Designer in
    print media
    .
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or equivalent tools.
  • Strong sense of typography, color theory, and layout composition.
  • Understanding of print production processes (bleed, crop marks, CMYK, resolution standards).
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in publishing houses, newspapers, or magazine design.
  • Knowledge of digital media design to complement print work.
  • Basic photography or illustration skills.
