Key Account Manager Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for existing accounts.
  • Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) between clients and the organization.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate requirements from clients.
  • Responsible for lead generation and maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Ensure timely submissions and provide necessary information to clients.
  • Follow up with clients on the progress of submitted documents.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to enhance business relationships.

Team Guidance and Motivation

  • Lead and motivate the team to source profiles, screen candidates, and engage with them.
  • Maintain a high shortlist to interview to select ratio.
  • Conduct meetings with key stakeholders and gather information.
  • Operate from the client's location as required.

New Business Development

  • Develop new businesses across verticals and geography within assigned clients.
  • Interact with stakeholders within clients to identify opportunities and fulfill them.

Wallet Share and Competition

  • Improve wallet share and mitigate competition through effective execution, speed, and agility.
  • Accountable for the business's profit and loss (P&L) within assigned clients.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Must have prior experience in client management (5-10 years).
  • Self-driven and motivated to achieve success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the IT or ITeS domain with contract staffing background.
