Job Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, components, and services required in the Electric Vehicle (2-wheeler) industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes and be able to identify reliable suppliers for EV components and raw materials. They will also be skilled at negotiating prices, contracts, and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings.

The role involves working closely with production, R&D, and service teams to forecast material requirements and maintain optimum stock levels. The ability to analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities is also essential.

The selected candidate will be well-versed in vendor development and management, with a focus on building long-term relationships with suppliers. They will also be skilled at monitoring vendor performance and conducting regular audits of vendor facilities.

We offer a competitive salary range of ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will be a key member of our team, working in a fast-paced EV ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement & Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for EV components and raw materials.
  • Vendor Management: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers.
  • Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with production, R&D, and service teams to forecast material requirements and maintain optimum stock levels.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure procurement activities comply with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate procurement records.
  • Cost & Quality Optimization: Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities and work with Quality Assurance to ensure procured items meet specifications.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the automobile or electric vehicle industry.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of EV components (battery, motor, controller, charger, etc.) is preferred.
  • Advance proficiency in MS-Excel.
