Job Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Design Specialist with expertise in electronics and electrical components to join our team. This role requires a good understanding of various electronics/electrical components, schematics/system interconnects, and the ability to design and develop efficient engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate electrical products and systems by designing testing methods
  • Work on obsolescence activities, qualifying replacements, performing testing, and releasing documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and qualify engineering solutions
  • Rapidly generate design concepts that develop into detailed drawings for manufacturing
  • Participate in design reviews to present designs throughout different phases
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics with 3-5 years of experience
  • Master's degree preferred with 1 year of experience
  • Comfortable working with US-based timings
Mandatory Skills:
  • Good understanding of electronics components, schematics/system interconnects
  • Able to select and recommend components based on application and circuit requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Critical/system-level thinking
  • Good project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good to Have:
  • Experience with part lifecycle management, change orders using PLM systems
  • Hands-on experience with testing electronics components (bench-level test and system-level test)
  • Familiarity with AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software
