Job Overview:

The eLearning Content Specialist plays a crucial role in creating and maintaining high-quality courses on Canvas Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring seamless learning experiences. Key responsibilities include course content development, digital asset management, stakeholder collaboration, and adherence to accessibility and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain courses in Canvas LMS, aligning with instructional design specifications and delivering exceptional results.
  • Design, develop, and format content pages, HTML pages, quizzes, assignments, and documents according to design document guidelines and accessibility standards.
  • Manage and optimize course assets, guaranteeing they meet the highest quality benchmarks.
  • Edit and manage content on Content Management System (CMS).
  • Conduct quality assurance and control reviews to ensure learning materials meet quality and accessibility standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve LMS-related issues during course setup and delivery, collaborating with relevant teams for effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to guarantee project requirements and specifications are met.
  • Deliver projects on time, adhering to high-quality standards and meeting organizational expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology or related field.
  • 1-4 years of working knowledge on HTML and CSS.
  • Experience working on Canvas LMS and/or CMS is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and accessibility standards for course design.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and H5P.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
