Job Profile

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience in database development in a large enterprise environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Database Management:
  • Ensuring high performance and reliability of Intersystems IRIS/Cache(Ensemble).
  • Implementing security best practices and access control policies.
  • Capacity planning, performance tuning, backup strategy design, and disaster recovery strategies implementation.
  • High availability and interoperability implementation.
  • Reporting and mirroring implementation.
  • IRIS installation, upgrades, and database patching.
  • Troubleshooting complex issues and managing database maintenance solutions.
  • Implementation of monitoring and support tools in IRIS.
  • Database Design and Development:
  • Understanding database design and data modeling principles.
  • Experience integrating IRIS with ETL/BI software.
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems (ServiceNow) and release management systems (Azure DevOps).
  • Good understanding of Azure and Agile methodologies.
Key Requirements
  • At least 2+ years of experience in database development in a large enterprise environment.
  • Expertise in administering Intersystems IRIS/Cache(Ensemble).
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices and access control policies.
  • Candidate should be proficient in capacity planning, performance tuning, and backup strategy design.
  • Good understanding of database design and data modeling principles.
  • Experience integrating IRIS with ETL/BI software is preferred.
