We are seeking a skilled Lead Database Architect to oversee the design and implementation of our database infrastructure.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless database performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Database Architecture: 8-12 years of experience in MongoDB database administration, including architecture and internals.
  • Backup and Restore: Experience in implementing backup/restore mechanisms for MongoDB databases, ensuring data integrity and availability.
  • Patching and Upgrades: Strong skills in MongoDB patching/upgrades, replicaset, and sharding.
  • PostgreSQL and MySQL Administration: Good experience in PostgreSQL and MySQL database administration, including monitoring tools and backup/restore mechanisms.
  • Cassandra Administration: Familiarity with Cassandra database administration, architecture, HA, and clustering.
  • Auditing, Logging, and Security: Experience in database auditing, logging, and security practices, as well as performance tuning and diagnostics.
  • Automation and Scripting: Good knowledge of scripting (Bash, Python) and automation technologies (Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform).
