Database Developer

Job Overview:

As a skilled Database Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust SQL Server database objects. Your expertise in optimizing T-SQL queries, indexes, and execution plans will ensure high-performance database systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop normalized and scalable database structures to support complex applications.
  • Develop efficient ETL pipelines using SSIS and maintain data integrity across multiple platforms.
  • Implement and monitor database security, backup, recovery, and high availability strategies to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, blocking/deadlocks, and optimize resource utilization for optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with application developers to design and implement data structures that meet business requirements.

Requirements:

  • 6-7 years of total IT experience with 5-6 years in SQL Server database development.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022) and Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with SSIS or equivalent ETL tools.
  • Experience with database version control and CI/CD deployment practices.
  • Proven skills in performance tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis.
