Job Overview

Job Description

As a leader in operational efficiency, you will be responsible for guiding the team to achieve high productivity and results.

  • Manage daily operations, including supply chain optimization and waste management strategies.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for plastic waste stream aggregation, segregation, chipping, washing, QA, and QC.
  • Continuously improve SOPs using Lean manufacturing principles and six sigma design process.
  • Increase throughput per day per worker and yield rates by developing individual performance-based models.
  • Ensure ethical sourcing and fair prices while increasing plastic sourcing and supply from stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate audits, assessments, client visits, and HQ team visits.
  • Maintain site hygiene and cleanliness according to required standards.
  • Work with Regional Operations Manager/Head of Operations to find new markets/solutions.
  • Comply with deployment and sustaining sourcing charters from clients and certification bodies.

Capacity Building:

  • Develop continuous capacity building and training programs for operation team members on operational efficiency, segregation, QA, and QC.
  • Conduct one-to-one capacity building sessions to strengthen operational efficiency in line with SOPs.
  • Improve supply chain and operational strategy through continuous innovation.
  • Facilitate training programs on health, safety, and environment, financial literacy, etc.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain documents and data as needed for compliance regarding workforce, health, safety, and environment.
  • Log KPI data into our application to monitor performance.
  • Manage, monitor, and review centre operations periodically.
  • Provide timely, concise, and accurate reports on daily, weekly, and monthly basis on prescribed formats and applications.

General Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate professionalism at all times and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and protocols at all levels of the organization.
  • Promote data confidentiality and security.
  • Travel frequently across locations, sometimes at short notice, for project or organizational needs.
