Key Roles and Responsibilities

This position oversees the implementation, management, and maintenance of analytics solutions to drive business growth. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of Adobe Analytics, tag management systems, and web architecture fundamentals.

  • Adobe Analytics Implementation and Management:
  • Implement and manage Adobe Analytics to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Manage tracking specifications, tagging strategies, and data layer implementations efficiently.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams for seamless integration across digital properties.
  • Data Analysis and Insights:
  • Analyse website, mobile app, and campaign performance using Adobe Analytics.
  • Develop and automate dashboards, reports, and in-depth analyses to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Conduct customer journey analysis, funnel analysis, and attribution modelling to enhance user experiences.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve conversion rates, engagement, and ROI.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with marketing, product, UX, and BI teams to align analytics with business goals.
  • Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for executives and stakeholders.
  • Educate and mentor team members on best practices in Adobe Analytics and digital measurement.
  • Cookie Compliance and Governance:
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations related to analytics and tags.
  • Implement data governance policies to maintain high data quality and consistency.
  • Design and implement frameworks for data privacy and security compliance requirements.
  • Perform internal and external assessments to identify data privacy risks and recommend remediation plans.
  • Liaise with local and global privacy teams to create/modify cookie consent banners.
  • Work with website owners to approve their sites' cookies through standard approval processes.
  • Establish thorough cookie governance processes and automated reports to highlight non-compliance.
  • Record approved/unapproved cookies and guide website owners accordingly.
  • Collaborate with Privacy, Site/Product owners, and internal/external development teams to implement cookie consent scripts.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Adobe Analytics or similar web analytics platforms.
  • Expertise in Adobe Launch and other tag management systems (Launch preferred).
  • Knowledge of web building blocks like HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery, etc.
  • Experience with Adobe Target, Customer Journey Analytics, and other Adobe Experience Cloud products is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools, along with experience integrating Adobe Analytics with BI tools.
  • Core knowledge of cookies, functionality, and types.
  • Expertise in managing cookie consent platforms like OneTrust, Evidon (OneTrust preferred).
  • Experience working on web audit tools like ObservePoint, Hotjar, etc.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Effective communication and storytelling abilities to present insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
