Job Overview

A proactive and meticulous Accounts Payable Specialist is required to manage accounts payable for a portfolio of U.S. real estate properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments accurately and in compliance with U.S. GAAP and IRS regulations.
  • Manage vendor onboarding, updates, and issue resolution effectively.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Support month-end close, accruals, and reporting activities efficiently.
  • Collaborate with property managers, vendors, and internal teams for invoice coding and approvals.
  • Prepare payments via checks, ACH, and wire transfers securely.
  • Track payment schedules and monitor cash flow proactively.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives in accounts payable consistently.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (desired).
  • 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably with U.S.-based accounting exposure.
  • Experience in the U.S. real estate sector is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; Yardi experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and IRS regulations related to AP.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities under deadlines effectively.
