Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to fill the Corporate Counsel role within our Legal Department.

The ideal candidate will have 8-14 years of experience in a legal & compliance position, with a proven track record of monitoring risk and compliance issues, implementing risk mitigation/remediation solutions, and providing guidance on reviewing/drafting policies, guidance notes, SOPs related to regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring risk and compliance issues, including data protection and privacy legislations, such as the EU GDPR.
  • Providing expert guidance on incident management, record retention management, and cyber security compliance.
  • Supporting compliance with immigration laws in EU, APAC, and MEA regions, including review of policy/guidance documents relating to business travel, work visa regulations, and reporting/notification requirements.

Qualifications:

  • LLB/LLM degree along with relevant experience as compliance counsel preferably in multinational companies.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations, including those relating to Data Privacy, Cyber Security, Immigration, and Mobility.
  • Independent project management skills, ability to interact with external and internal stakeholders, and maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive matters.
