About the Opportunity

MUFG Bank is seeking an experienced professional to fill a key role in our Global Corporate and Investment Banking division.

  • Purpose of Role: This position will be responsible for business management, planning, and administration within GCIB.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategic:
    • Support Head of GCIB in developing business strategy
    • Implement global and/or regional initiatives and business strategies
  • Financial/KPI/KRI:
    • Monitor departmental financial performance and assess against targets
    • Support Head and Directors/Team Leads in achieving financial/KPI/KRI targets
    • Track revenue and expense budget with Finance team
    • Analyze research material and develop financial models and projections
  • Customer:
    • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
    • Work with overseas onshore branches and Head Office to promote business growth
    • Provide support to existing and future stakeholders
  • People:
    • Act as a role model to team members and adhere to company policies/guidelines
    • Coach and guide junior team members on complex issues
  • Other/Control:
    • Monitor business risk profiles and lead report/resolution efforts
    • Establish governance framework for newly established team
    • Support policy development and implementation
    • Maintain knowledge of GCC industry trends/products/relevant laws/regulations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Candidate Profile:
    • 2-4+ years of experience in reporting/business management or related fields
    • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Highly organized with structured approach
    • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities
