About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Track Alignment Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing preliminary designs for Track Alignments, ensuring efficient project execution and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing Horizontal and Vertical Track Centre Line Alignments to meet operational requirements.
  • Developing Points and Crossings based on conceptual operation principles.
  • Creating and implementing standard working procedures to ensure work is executed according to Standard Operating Designs (SOD).
  • Analyzing as-built components with tolerances, suggesting redesigns to avoid infringement during mass construction, while maintaining quality standards.
  • Planning and coordinating daily activities involved in Rail Track Design & Infrastructure Development projects.
  • Familiarity with design methodologies in Elevated Sections, including Swept Path Analysis, Regression Analysis, and Drainage systems.
  • Proficiency in Rail Design software, including Swept Path Analysis, Regression Analysis, and Drainage analysis.
  • Preparing and reviewing design calculations for Cant, Cant Deficiency, Cant Excess, Speed, Rate of change of Cant, and Transition.
  • Conducting quality checks and assurance for deliverables, review meetings, and issue resolutions.
  • Site visits for interface monitoring and ensuring construction activity compliance.
  • Collaborating with the interface team, including Geotech, Structure, Signal, Architecture, Utility, Traction, Rolling Stock, and Multi-Model Integration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience, with 5 years in relevant experience in Track Alignment of Metro projects.
