Experience and qualifications required for the role include a minimum of 15 years of education with 2+ years of prior work experience in AP processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance and business operations, with hands-on working knowledge of SAP.

Key responsibilities will include day-to-day accounts payable activities such as invoice processing, vendor queries, vendor setups/maintenance, invoice exception resolution, invoice reconciliation, payment proposal generation, and payment.

The selected candidate will be expected to follow documented procedures, understand client processes, and demonstrate active teamwork and good communication and documentation skills.

A sound analytical and interpersonal skillset is also essential, along with a strong customer orientation and problem-solving abilities.

Additionally, the candidate should have a solid understanding of relevant F&A processes and be able to deliver results within agreed-upon timelines while adhering to SLAs.

Key areas of focus will include:

  • Classification of Accounting, Key Accounting Concepts, Fundamental Accounting Assumptions, Accounting Policies
  • Types of Accounts, Double Entry system
  • Journal Entries, Posting to Ledger, Preparation of Trial Balance
  • Subsidiary Books
  • Rectification of Errors
  • Adjusting Entries
  • Bank & Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
  • Inventory Valuation
  • Fixed Assets, Depreciation, Sale of assets
  • Preparation of Financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash flow)
  • Ratio Analysis

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Minimum 15 years of education with 2+ years of prior work experience in AP processes
  • Strong background in accounting, finance and business operations
