Senior Associate

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal affairs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across business, sales, and other functions.

About the Role

The Senior Associate will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and managing internal and external stakeholders, as well as providing legal advice and opinions on all legal matters that impact the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting and negotiating agreements with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Providing legal advice and opinions on all legal matters that impact the business;
  • Communicating effectively with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders;
  • Improving and evolving drafts and templates created by the legal team.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • An excellent grasp of laws and market practices pertaining to technology agreements, data protection laws, intellectual property, and other affiliated areas;
  • The ability to work independently and within a team as and when required, with unimpeachable integrity, honesty, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with persons across different walks of life and cultures;
  • Ability to explain contract risks and obligations to non-lawyers;
  • Attention to detail, speed, and efficiency in reviewing and drafting documents.
