About this role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Legal Associate. In this role, you will work collaboratively across business, sales, and other functions to provide legal advice and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Drafting, negotiating, and managing internal and external stakeholders on various legal assignments.
  • Providing legal opinions and advice on matters impacting the business, while minimizing legal risks.
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including management, leadership teams, and external advisors.
Requirements:
  • A strong understanding of laws and market practices related to technology agreements, data protection, intellectual property, and other areas.
  • The ability to work independently and within a team, with unimpeachable integrity, honesty, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-lawyers.
  • A keen eye for detail, speed, and efficiency in reviewing and drafting documents.
Qualifications:
  • An undergraduate degree from a reputable national law university or college (Mandatory).
  • An LLM or postgraduate degree in law from a reputable international law university, specializing in technology law (Optional).
Experience:
  • 2-5 years of experience in a top-tier law firm, preferably in the technology law practice, or as an in-house counsel in a technology company.
  • Previous experience in law firms is preferred over no prior law firm experience.
