Job Description

The role of Chartered Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial activities of a portfolio of hotels and restaurants. The individual will oversee end-to-end financial management, with a focus on consolidation, compliance, and performance analysis.

The Chartered Accountant will act as a bridge between unit-level finance teams and corporate leadership, ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory adherence, and business-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate monthly and annual accounts across all properties.
  • Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports, variance analysis, and dashboards for management.
  • Manage statutory, tax, and internal audits specific to the hospitality industry.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Monitor cash flows, working capital, and treasury management at group level.
  • Support annual budgeting and reforecasting for each hotel unit.
  • Standardize accounting processes and internal controls across properties.
  • Liaise with external parties.
  • Provide actionable insights on cost management, revenue streams, and profitability improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3–7 years post-qualification experience.
  • Prior experience in hospitality/multi-unit business is strongly preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of hotel accounting, tax compliance, and financial controls.
  • Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, hotel Property Management Systems (PMS), and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
