Experiential Fleet Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Event Technology Operations Specialist to join our team. As an Event Technology Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our clients' global experiential and event production fleet.

The role requires a strong technical background and proficiency in event technology, live streaming, and broadcast technologies including IP-based video, audio, control, and lighting systems as well as IT system administration of Windows and Linux based systems.

A key responsibility will be the development and execution of proactive maintenance projects, configuration and documentation of broadcast streaming and experiential & event technology infrastructure.

You will also be required to identify patterns in technical issues escalated across the fleet and proactively develop projects and deploy appropriate solutions globally to ensure consistent fleet operations.

Furthermore, you will utilize scripting to develop efficient methods to configure and deploy hardware and software infrastructures.

You will coordinate with partner services, client teams, and SMEs to provide global support.

You will report impact or projected impact to team lead & stakeholders.

In addition, you will support experiential site operations as needed with projects and setup of various event or show elements as needed.

You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a knowledge base to support fleet operations for all tiers in the service.

This includes training, runbooks on software/hardware infrastructure, best practices, known issues, issue management and escalation protocols.

Technical expertise in navigating and troubleshooting AVCL deployments on corporate network infrastructure is essential.

You will also be required to manage our clients proprietary Cloud experience platform services.

Remote enrollment & configuration of Mac, Linux & Window fleet via UEM, SSH, VNC & Chrome Remote Desktop is another critical aspect of this role.

You will monitor stability of deployment infrastructure and validate testing for newer interactive exhibit releases.

Platform and system administration skills are also necessary for this position.

You will operate remotely and independently from the geographic locations of the fleet through network infrastructure, partner tier 2 services, dispatched field services, or other reasonably capable third parties.

Flexibility to work after hours on occasion and weekends as needed to address urgent issues and support special projects is also required.

This role requires proficiency with Unix, Windows & Mac based operating systems.

Proficiency with online & event video production technologies is also essential.

You should have familiarity with enterprise level network switches & routers.

Experience with IT & media network protocols, VLAN, QoS, IGMP Snooping is desirable.

Knowledge of advanced signal flow for audio, video, lighting, network and control is also necessary.

You should be able to create detailed documentation & project proposals.

Flexibility to continuously teach and be taught new technologies and workflows is also required.

Ability to read and write line diagrams in technical design documents is necessary.

This role may require travel to various locations in support of the account.

The ideal candidate will have administration of the following device types or industry standard equivalent: desktop and server OS support (Mac OS X, Windows, Linux), fleet management software such as unified endpoint management (UEM), virtual network computing (VNC), secure shell.

Proficiency in scripting & automation processes is also desired.

Experience with LED video walls & multi projector installations, including configuration and maintenance of both hardware and software, is desirable.

Experience with enterprise Cloud platforms, VMs running web services is also necessary.

Experience with web development, code & database management is also required.

Knowledge of message brokers, federation and configuration is desirable.

An undergraduate degree or 4 years of related experience in IP based broadcast, live production, experiential, media technologies, networking or computer science is desirable.

Certifications such as CTP (Certified Technical Professional), CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), CNCT (Certified Network Computer Technician) are also nice to have.
