Lead SAP ABAP Expert

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP ABAP professional to lead the development of our ERP systems. As an SAP ABAP Lead Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving the creation of scalable, high-performance SAP solutions that support critical business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing custom ABAP programs including WRICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
  • Optimizing system performance through code refinement and debugging.
  • Implementing system modifications using BADI, User Exits, and the Enhancement Framework.
  • Integrating SAP with external systems via APIs, IDocs, RFCs, and Web Services.
  • Leading junior developers, promoting coding standards and reusable components.
  • Making architectural decisions to ensure scalability and maintainability.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver future-ready solutions.
  • Conducting code reviews, managing support tickets, and ensuring documentation standards.
  • Supporting development tasks across multiple projects and time zones, especially EU regions.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP professional, including 3+ full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.
  • Deep expertise in RICEFW components and advanced SAP technologies like OData, Fiori, RAP, HANA APIs, AMDP, and CDS Views.
  • Strong command of Object-Oriented ABAP and SAP development tools (Code Inspector, Debugger).
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams, enforce standards, and drive innovation.
  • Solid understanding of SAP functional processes and integration techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
