Software Engineer Position Summary

Universal Media LLC is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join its team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP ABAP development, ECC, and S/4 HANA systems. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing SAP ABAP programs using BADI's, BAPIs, LSMW, ALE, RFC calls, IDOC, BDC, business objects, classes, and methods.
  • Performing technical unit testing, supporting functional teams during testing and validation cycles, and writing technical specification documents.
  • Developing detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing, and implementation phases of projects.
  • Managing operational support, performing work during change windows, and providing on-call support as required by the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience as an ABAP Developer/Senior Developer with hands-on experience in ECC and/or S/4 HANA or SAP Fiori UI5.
  • Knowledge of various SAP modules and integration development working on large-scale ECC or SAP S/4 transformations.
  • ABAP debugging skills, workflow experience, and performed performance tuning of ABAP programs.
  • Strong understanding of IT project management SDLC processes and methodologies, such as Waterfall, Agile Scrum, and associated best practices.
  • Relevant SAP technical certification a plus.
