Role Description : As a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex ABAP solutions to meet our clients' business requirements. Responsibilities : ABAP Development :

  • Develop and maintain complex ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
  • Utilize advanced ABAP concepts such as Object-Oriented ABAP, ABAP for HANA, CDS Views, and AMDP.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Optimize ABAP code for performance and efficiency.

Technical Design and Documentation :

  • Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Create detailed technical design documents and provide accurate effort estimations.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all ABAP developments.

System Integration :

  • Develop and implement interfaces using BAPIs, BDCs, IDocs, and Web Services.
  • Ensure seamless integration between SAP modules and external systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.

Performance Tuning :

  • Analyze and optimize ABAP code for performance improvements.
  • Utilize performance analysis tools to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Optimize database queries and improve system response times.

Troubleshooting and Support :

  • Provide technical support to end-users and resolve complex ABAP-related issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
  • Participate in system testing and ensure quality assurance.

Staying Updated :

  • Keep up to date with new SAP technologies, and S/4 hana development.
  • Research and implement new ABAP techniques.

Qualifications : Experience :

  • 6-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

Technical Skills :

  • Expertise in RICEF development.
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented ABAP.
  • Experience with ABAP for HANA, CDS Views, and AMDP is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in developing interfaces using BAPIs, BDCs, IDocs, and Web Services.
  • Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Teamwork : Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
