Job Title

As a Research Assistant in the Climate Change & Energy Transition field, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based insights to inform global climate policies. Our team conducts rigorous research, shapes innovative solutions, and fosters thought leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough research and data analysis for focus areas such as climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies.
  • Develop high-quality analytical research reports, policy papers, discussion papers, and articles that highlight key findings and recommendations.
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources to support research initiatives and identify patterns or trends.
  • Lead projects and discussions, including planning, budget management, and coordination responsibilities.
  • Establish relationships with industry participants and collaborate with partners to enhance events and communication efforts.
  • Search and review published literature on research topics to stay updated on the latest developments.
  • Supervise undergraduate project interns or other personnel on research-related tasks and provide guidance and feedback.
  • Assist with manuscript or grant development and prepare reports or presentations.
  • Organize events, seminars, and workshops to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, including engineering or energy economics.
  • PhD in the given domain is an advantage.
  • 0-1 years of work experience.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with proficiency in econometric models and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to adapt to new environments and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work/lead as part of a team and independently drive research.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong relationship skills and team ethics.
