Project Advisor

This role is a strategic opportunity to leverage your experience and knowledge of railway operations, project approvals, tendering, and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide project teams on technical standards, IR codes, and operational procedures.
  • Advise on railway-related project works, including track, signaling, electrification, bridges, station development, etc.
  • Support in resolving on-site project execution challenges with railway authorities.
  • Liaise with railway officials, consultants, and government departments for project clearances.
  • Act as a bridge between stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Participate in client meetings, inspections, and progress reviews.
  • Support tendering team with railway-specific insights, cost estimation, and bid preparation.
  • Identify project risks early and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Mentor junior engineers and project staff on railway systems and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

A retired senior officer from Indian Railways (preferably from IRSE, IRSME, IRSSE, IRSEE, or equivalent) with a minimum 25+ years of railway project experience.

Proven track record of handling large-scale projects, strong network and credibility with railway authorities.

Key Skills:

Deep knowledge of Indian Railway codes, manuals, and approval procedures.

Excellent stakeholder relationship management.

Strong advisory and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to guide project teams with practical solutions.

Leadership and mentoring skills.
