This role requires strong technical and commercial skills, with the ability to represent the application scope within projects and report to line management.

  • Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Control:

">

We are seeking an experienced professional to develop comprehensive project objectives from Project Management and provided documents. You will prepare project planning and required project documents, ensuring compliance with defined procedures/processes for project controlling and reporting.

Application Implementation:

">

The successful candidate will coordinate complex application implementation with international partners, ensuring that application goals defined with technical management, project management, and all project participants are achieved.

Leadership and Team Management:

">

This role involves technical leadership of the ETCS L1/L2 Application team, including staff resource planning and coordination with organizational units involved. You will manage a team setup consisting of Customer Interfacing, System Manager, Projects Support functions, Quality Management, System Engineering, Hardware and Software Engineering, Test Management, RAMS Management, and Validation.

Requirements:

We are looking for a degree-holding professional with extensive experience in railway transportation systems, preferably with rail systems business specialization. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in Engineering (Design) in ATP/ATC scope for ETCS L1/L2 domain, with hands-on design engineering activities for ETCS L1/L2 trackside.

Degree Requirements:

A degree in electrical engineering or systems engineering is essential, with railway specific specialization preferred.

Professional Experience:

At least 5 years of professional experience in railway transportation systems, ideally in the rail systems business, with extensive knowledge on ETCS L1/L2 operation scenario, national values, terminology, and packets/telegram.

Additional Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication abilities combined with strong interpersonal skills, high level of customer and quality orientation, and strong abilities in consulting and implementation.

Languages:

Fluent English is essential, both written and oral, while knowledge of Spanish language will be an asset.
