
Executive Housekeeper Manager

Job Overview:
This senior role is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations in a hotel or resort setting. The Executive Housekeeper Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas, and facilities are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc., after cleaning by housekeeping staff to ensure quality standards.
- Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms.
- Assist housekeeping management in managing daily activities, including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees.
- Act as a liaison to coordinate efforts between housekeeping, engineering, front office, and laundry departments.
- Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the front desk.
- Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments.
- Communicate issues to the next shift.
- Complete required paperwork and ensure adherence to company policies and safety/security procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- At least 1 year of related work experience and at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct staff.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
