**Job Title**: Executive Housekeeper
**Department**: Housekeeping
**Reports To**: General Manager / Rooms Division Manager

**Position Summary**:
The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and attractive condition of the hotel. This includes guestrooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and laundry operations. The role ensures the highest standards of hygiene, service, and comfort are maintained in accordance with the hotel’s brand and guest expectations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the housekeeping team, including supervisors, room attendants, public area attendants, and laundry staff.
- Ensure daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to uphold cleanliness and quality standards.
- Manage department budgets, cost control, and resource allocation effectively.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, uniforms, and equipment.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and schedules.
- Collaborate with front office, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate housekeeping staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
- Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Manage laundry operations including outsourcing if applicable.
- Plan and schedule deep cleaning and renovation-related housekeeping tasks.
- Report and follow up on maintenance issues and lost & found items.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper in a 4-star (or higher) hotel.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good knowledge of housekeeping tools, chemicals, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or related field preferred.

**Working Conditions**:

- Full-time position with flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and shifts as required.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, and carry out inspections throughout the hotel premises.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
