Job Summary:
This is a challenging role that requires the ability to deploy, configure and manage OpenStack environments using Kolla-Ansible and TripleO. You will also design, deploy and maintain Ceph storage clusters ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Integrate OpenStack environments with monitoring logging and alerting tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions.
- Participate in CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes and application deployments.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure designs configurations and operational procedures.
- Support capacity planning incident management and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7–10 years of hands-on OpenStack experience including deployment configuration and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience deploying OpenStack using Kolla-Ansible and TripleO.
- Relevant 3–5 years of experience with containerization technologies primarily Docker.
- Relevant 2–3 years of experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift administration.
- Proficiency in Ceph storage setup and management for block file and object storage.
- Strong proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
- Solid understanding of Linux systems administration preferably RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu.
- Knowledge of networking concepts relevant to cloud environments.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus Grafana Kibana.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
