AWS Cloud Infrastructure Specialist plays a pivotal role in leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and fault-tolerant infrastructure utilizing AWS services. The specialist automates infrastructure provisioning using Jenkins, GitHub, and Terraform to bridge the gap between operations and development teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Architecture: Develop highly available, resilient, and scalable AWS infrastructure solutions ensuring best practices in performance, reliability, and security.
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee applications and infrastructure employing advanced techniques to optimize configurations and resource utilization.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with development and operations teams to define infrastructure requirements, provide expert guidance on best practices, and drive organizational change and improvements.
  • Process Enhancement: Spearhead continuous enhancements in the Change Management process to ensure controlled and efficient deployment of changes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Troubleshooting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance software development and deployment processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Offer technical support and troubleshooting for AWS-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in AWS cloud computing.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Architect is preferred.
  • AWS Expertise: In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, EKS, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
  • Database Knowledge: Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases like PostgreSQL.
