About the Position:
We are seeking a skilled QA specialist to develop and execute test cases for OTT platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing video streaming workflows, ensuring compatibility with protocols like HLS and DASH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for OTT platforms.
- Test video streaming workflows and validate content delivery across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Roku, Smart TVs, web browsers).
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and compatibility testing for OTT applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with at least 1-2 years in the OTT or media streaming industry.
- Strong understanding of video streaming protocols and OTT platform testing requirements.
- Experience testing on multiple devices and platforms.
- Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking tools.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages.
