Job Description:

As an automation tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using C# with Selenium WebDriver and SpecFlow for BDD-style testing.

You will create and execute automation test plans and test cases across web-based applications. You will utilize scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash to enhance test automation and streamline workflows.

Collaboration with developers, QA engineers, and product owners in Agile/Scrum environments is essential.

Defect tracking and management using JIRA is required, ensuring timely updates and resolution.

SQL queries will be used for backend data validation and to support test scenarios.

Test reports, dashboards, and key quality metrics will be generated and maintained for stakeholders.

Participation in test planning, estimation, and documentation of test strategies and coverage is necessary.

Support regression testing and ensure automated tests are integrated into the CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in test automation using C# and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Experience in behavior-driven development (BDD) using SpecFlow.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
  • Strong experience using JIRA for bug tracking, task management, and working with agile boards.
  • Solid understanding of the software testing lifecycle, automation frameworks, and QA best practices.
  • Hands-on experience writing and optimizing SQL queries for test data validation.
