Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to design, develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights - Data (CI-D) and Journeys (CI-J) implementations.

About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, with experience working on complex projects involving Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • A solid understanding of Dataverse schema and data flow within the Power Platform is essential for success in this role.

This position requires proficiency in using tools for API testing, test case management and defect tracking, such as Postman and Azure DevOps.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for CI-D and CI-J implementations.
  2. Validate the integrity, mapping and synchronization of customer data across Dataverse, CI-D, CI-J and third-party integrations.
  3. Conduct end-to-end testing of customer journeys, segmentation logic, data ingestion pipelines and marketing automations.
  4. Perform functional, regression, integration and UAT testing to ensure product quality meets business and technical requirements.

This role also involves collaboration with developers, data engineers and marketing teams to proactively identify issues and validate resolutions.

Requirements
  • 3–5 years of hands-on QA experience, preferably in projects involving Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Customer Insights.
  • Strong understanding of Dataverse and its schema.
  • Experience testing integrations with third-party systems.
  • Familiarity with D365 CRM from a QA perspective.
  • Proficient in using tools for API testing, test case management and defect tracking.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required for this position, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
