Job Overview:

Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test automation, with a strong focus on Selenium WebDriver and related frameworks.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver and related frameworks.
  • Contribute to mobile automation with Appium and web automation with Playwright (good to have).
  • Perform API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Dev, Product) to define testing strategies and ensure product quality.
  • Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Report and track defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution with development teams.
  • Continuously enhance frameworks for reusability, scalability, and maintainability.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as a strong analytical and problem-solving approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement automated test cases using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Design and execute manual tests to validate application functionality.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize bugs.
  • Develop and maintain test data, including creating and managing test environments.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and meet business objectives.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
  • Proven experience with Selenium WebDriver and related frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages, including Java, Python, or C#.
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
