Job Title: Software Test Automation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Test Automation Specialist with hands-on experience in ACCELQ automation for web applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in test automation, functional testing, and experience in implementing CI/CD-based automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, Develop, and Maintain Automated Test Cases: Utilize ACCELQ (Cloud version) to create automated test cases for web applications, ensuring high reusability and maintainability.
  • Execute Automated and Manual Tests: Conduct thorough testing across functional, regression, and integration levels, ensuring application quality.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with developers, BAs, and product owners to understand requirements and create effective test scenarios.
  • Integrate Automation Test Suites with CI/CD Pipelines: Seamlessly integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
  • Provide Test Coverage Reports and Defect Analysis: Deliver comprehensive test coverage reports and analyze defects to identify root causes.
  • Ensure Automation Best Practices: Contribute to QA strategy for continuous improvement by adhering to automation best practices.

Required Skills

  • Strong Hands-on Experience in ACCELQ Web (Cloud): Proven expertise in utilizing ACCELQ for web automation.
  • Solid Knowledge of Automation Frameworks and Test Design Principles: Comprehensive understanding of automation frameworks and test design principles.
  • Good Understanding of Agile Methodologies and DevOps CI/CD Environments: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps environments.
  • Experience in Functional, Regression, and Integration Testing: Practical experience in conducting various types of testing.
  • Knowledge of APIs and Ability to Automate Using ACCELQ (Nice to Have): Familiarity with APIs and ability to automate using ACCELQ.
  • Familiarity with Tools Such as JIRA, Confluence, Git: Working knowledge of tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Git.
