Engineering Group Manager

This role is a senior leadership position at our company.

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Group Manager to lead our team of engineers and manage our products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and experience in managing engineering teams.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Building high-performing self-organizing agile teams
  • Implementing career development and personal growth plans for team members
  • Driving improvements to the group's development methodologies and processes
  • Managing and driving execution and day-to-day activities of the group

The ideal candidate will also possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years of software development experience as a software engineer and an engineering manager
  • A minimum of 6 years developing with Node.js, C# or Java
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience with large scale and high-performance distributed systems
  • Indirectly managed at least 3 engineering teams (managed team managers) with a minimum of 20 group members for a consecutive period

The successful candidate will be proactive, independent, mature, self-driven and work well with minimal supervision as part of a diverse team. They will also have excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in verbal and written English communication.

We are looking for someone who can collaborate effectively with international managers and colleagues and has experience working with diverse teams.
